  3. Analogue Heaven Information
    1. Introduction (from the info file, available from majordomo@hyperreal.org)
      1. "Analogue Heaven is a mailing list devoted to discussion of analogue and vintage musical equipment, synthesis, and electronic music-making. Analogue Heaven was created by Todd Sines in 1993. Analogue Heaven has existed for several years. Many of the questions you might ask have probably been answered already. Browse the Music Machines archive (http://www.hyperreal.org/machines/) before asking -- you may find a complete answer to your question right there. Analogue Heaven is a high-traffic (about 60 messages a day), high-membership (nearly 500 subscribers) list. Accordingly, members need to use some judgement when deciding what is appropriate to post to the list. Members of Analogue Heaven who consistently violate these guidelines will be asked politely to desist and given a copy of these rules. If they persist, they will be removed from the list. Members should PRIVATELY inform new members when they stray."
    2. Administrator
      1. Mike Perkowitz (map@cs.washington.edu)
    3. Formats

    4. To subscribe, send Email - to: majordomo@hyperreal.com body: subscribe analogue - Subscribe NOW - Unsubscribe NOW - Note: If your address causes mail delivery problems, you may be unsubscribed from the list. Once the problems are sorted out, just resubscribe. DO NOT SEND "TEST" MESSAGES TO THE LIST.
